This week on the Random Assault Podcast, Kate's out again, so Matt and Mitch talk about the perils of driving through states like Maryland and Virginia, pooping habits, the anime we were forced to endure as children and young teens, and how we totally live in the most exciting, changing times ever and we should feel special about that because we're special and we're gonna tell our grandkids how special we are because we're definitely not living in mundane times and are trying to carve out any semblance of relevancy in the shadow of our collective uselessness and lack of real world skills as a consequence of growing up at the beginning of the internet age. Yup. 2017 was the worst year in recorded human history.

Mitch watches some movies, like the first half hour or so of "Knock Knock", which he describes as "pretty good cuckquean shit".

Theater-school drop-outs make games in which a narrative is forced to have a woman as a main character, and the game feels uninspired, stale and forgettable as a result (ex. Horizon: Zero Dawn, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice). Auteurs create waifus, who they love, and thus, the games containing them are works of art (ex. Nier: Automata, Bayonetta).

We talk about 90's cartoons and anime for the 764th episode in a row.
