Today is the last day of Spring semester for me. All I have left is my Business Law final in a few hours and I am free. As much as I need to sit here and study, I can’t help but have My Little Pony on in the background. There’s just something about it. The more I watch, the more I like it, though it’s not without faults.
As much as I enjoy each character’s, well, characteristics, I get a little bored every time they put two character centric episodes in a row. I enjoy watching Rarity flex her creativity, but two episodes about how she takes on too much or wants to break into the high fashion industry is too much. Just mix them throughout the season, it’s not like these episodes depend on the previous for plot lines.
I saw the introduction of the Cutie Mark Crusaders and as questionable as introducing young girl characters could be, I must say they are incredibly charming in a way that reminds me of my younger siblings. There’s just something innately charming and heartwarming about the entire show. It still doesn’t hit those Adventure Time highs, but it’s quite good.
